End of term 1

Hola a todos!

It has been a pretty busy start of the year for me and my family. Little Rosario is now 3 months old and we are now back in New Zealand after spending some weeks in Argentina visiting my family and friends and attending my sister’s wedding. It has been weird to feel like a tourist in my own country but I did! 🙂 I have been here too long… I am excited to go back to teaching in Term 2. Here you have some picks but there are more in Facebook. I have been trying and willing to share some my tourist adventures in Buenos Aires but it has been hard to do, I will little by little do it all!

 

 

Our first Spanish Cooking Class was a success so we will offer an Argentine Cooking Class at the end of term 2 (free to all current and past students; you only have to enrol and come along!). Muchas gracias Eva & Gisella!

All the best to Eva on her trip around South American and Spain – we will miss you dearly! We all look forward to hearing from your adventures and your return in September!!!

Conversation classes between Terms

Enrolment is open for our Conversation classes between Term 1 and 2. A great way to practice and catch up! Wednesdays 20, 27 April & 4 May. More details and fees on our website. Remember this is only for past and current students. If you are interested and not sure if your abilities are suitable, please contact Laura; groups are carefully put together.

Conversation for Beginners – it is a guided class to focus on grammar and vocabulary worked in Beginner courses. Perfect for those who are travelling soon. Topics are: Shopping, Accommodation, Problems, Eating out & Transport.

Conversation for Intermediate – it is for students who are in Pre-Intermediate advanced and Intermediate courses who can already speak Spanish. This is a class focus on acquiring fluency.

Term 2

Please enrol asap on our website!

We have added a new Beginners 2 group as some of you requested an early course: we have two options now. Please enrol asap so we know if we can actually run this class.

Immersion Holiday Programs – for children

Please enrol on our Program on Mondays or Thursdays during Term breaks. There is a 10% discount for children who have been enrolled in Term 1 2016.

Term 2

Please enrol asap as we need to organise ourselves and we need to have a minimum number of students to run a course.

We have some parents interested in us setting up a Spanish Club during the week at our institute (Weds 4 to 5.30pm) and in some schools: Lincoln (Fridays after school) and Mt Pleasant. Could you please contact us asap if you are interested? We will add you to our waiting list and keep you posted.
