Term 2 starts next week – enrol now – Movie Night tonight

Hola a todos!

We have been very busy! Busy is good!

We haven’t really have a holiday at Speak Spanish; some of you know that we had to take some days off this term and that is why some courses finish later than others. It is also the first time we have 10 week courses and we are pleased with the results! We could not do the Conversation classes this term and Workshops but they will be back! Gracias for all your support and being patient with all these changes.

Loreto Araya has joined our teaching team and we are so happy! She is a Chilean qualified teacher who has been working quite hard to catch up with Speak Spanish observing and working in the background with Eva and Laura.Gracias Loreto and we wish you all the best!!! Her profile is not yet on the website, we will be uploading that.
Eva is on holiday! Lucky her!! She will be back in September. She is working online so if you wish to still have private classes with her, she is still available, believe or not! She is amazing like that! She is supporting Laura improving our programs and planning for the Preparation for DELE courses in October. Gracias Eva!

Students enrolled in Term 1, have probably received an online form. If you haven’t, PLEASE make sure we have your feedback, especially this term! (click on the link to fill the Feedback form).

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT: please help us spreading the word… we are looking for families to join our Children + parent courses on Saturdays and Teenagers (any levels) to join our classes on Fridays. We need your support to be able to keep this courses running. Have a look at fees and details on our website.

QUEEN’S BIRTHDAY WEEKEND: we don’t have classes on Saturdays when there is a public holiday on Friday or Monday. Please have this in mind when enrolling. Your enrolment details are all in your invoices. Please read Term & Conditions as we don’t offer make up classes or refunds; we ask students to pay in full before the term starts.

Some of our gossip is on Facebook and also our recommended material for you to study on your own. It is worth to LIKE it! (we think at least!)

As you know the Immersion Holiday program for children was cancelled in January and over this April holidays but be ready!!! we will be back in July!

The Beckenham school Spanish Club has finished at the end of term 1, construction on the school means we are not able to have our classes there. Thanks to Sandy and parents who have supported us for almost 4 years there! The students from this class who wish to continue have the option to come to the Spanish Club at our institute on Wednesdays 4.00 to 5.30pm or Saturdays 11.00 to 1.00pm. Spanish Film evenings this Friday 28/5 7.00pm at our institute ( AHA – Asociacion Hispanica Aotearoa & Embassy of Spain in NZ) – entry by donation

Spanish Clubs are starting on the second week Monday 8th May . We will try to go back to Lincoln!!
